In response to the COVID–19 health crisis in Australia, the Federal Minister for Health, the Hon Greg Hunt, announced the expansion of telehealth services to include further Medicare-funded allied health services. AHPA welcomed this initiative and, as the peak body for the allied health sector, worked with the government on the co-design of this whole-of-population approach to healthcare.
