This submission is in response to the Joint Standing Committee on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Inquiry into NDIS ICT Systems. Our submission highlights the issues AHPA and its member associations have identified in the use of systems such as the MyPlace portal.
AHPA recognises the significant improvements that have been made and the transitional nature of the Scheme. However, we remain concerned that issues with NDIS ICT systems continue to add to the workload and resource costs for providers. The rollout of changes to the system may have a significant impact on providers but there is typically little or no consultation, user-testing or advance notice to support implementation.
