AHPA have been featured in an article by Australian Ageing Agenda regarding the 2023 Aged Care Provider Workforce Survey, and the severe underprovision of allied health in residential aged care.
The article discusses AHPA’s calls for a concerted effort to implement the royal commission’s relevant recommendations, and the need for allied health to be treated as an intrinsic part of aged care and be provided to every resident according to their needs.
