AHPA was invited to the recent Aged Care Workforce Roundtable convened by the Minister for Aged Care, Anika Wells, where the Minister called for solutions from stakeholders. The proposals we have provided take an emergency first aid approach to residential aged care while a multidisciplinary project, EMBRACE, is undertaken and evaluated. Other solutions include development of a cross-sector National Allied Health Workforce Strategy together with urgent data and digital integration of allied health into the broader health and care systems
