AHPA wecomes new Interim Directors Jodie Long and Samantha Hunter

AHPA is pleased to welcxome our two new Interim Directors, Jodie Long and Samantha Hunter.

Jodie is a highly accomplished executive healthcare leader with over 25 years’ experience in the allied health sector. She has the mix of both corporate experience, having worked for a large corporate healthcare company for 11 years as well as clinical experience, starting out as a Radiographer. Jodie was previously the Chief Executive Officer at the Australasian Sonographers Association (2017-2023) and is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Speech Pathology Australia.

Samantha has led Occpational Therapy Australia as Chief Executive Officer for over five years, and was appointed by the Board to steer and position OTA to represent, support, strengthen and resource the continually evolving occupational therapy profession.

Sam has over 25 years of experience both as a senior leader and Board Director working across corporate, professional services, and not for profit organisations.

AHPA is delighted to have Jodie and Samantha on the Board of Directors and looks forward to working with them both.
