About

The Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA) is the peak body representing chiropractors in Australia, with over 3,000 members. ACA promotes the highest standards of patient care and is guided by a strict code of ethics, ensuring everyone can have confidence in a ACA chiropractor.

Vision and mission

The ACA vision is that more Australians embrace and access chiropractic care. Its mission is encapsulated in their mission statement: Supporting chiropractors, enhancing health.

Advocacy

ACA aims to advocate on behalf of its members to influence public policy and ensure that chiropractic services are available to all Australians. It seeks to improve the reputation and standing of the profession and increase utilisation of chiropractors, as more Australians embrace and access chiropractic care.

Regulation/Accreditation

Chiropractic is nationally regulated by the Chiropractic Board of Australia for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. To maintain quality and safety, chiropractors complete continuing professional development courses and seminars to upgrade and maintain their skills.
